Gaelic Connect is a map-based website that facilitates events, points of interest and educational resources to help people connect within the Gaelic community. This website features a levelling system that gamifies the experience to ensure user retention.

The UI design features a full-screen map to encourage users to explore and attend different Gaelic events. The client requested a web app feel to the UX therefore, all interactive content opens as a floating overlay rather than on a new page. This keeps the users focus on the map.

Journhey

Jourhey is an app that helps young people to understand and report on what is affecting their health. This app is backed by researchers and allows people to record behaviours in real-time, which enables health researchers to collect several types of data from people as they go about their lives.

The UI design is made up of informative widgets that have a frosted-glass effect. This created a dynamic scrolling effect over the gradient background. As this app is aimed at a younger target audience, the colour palette used features bright and visually appealing colours.

MiSolve is an online hypnotherapy and mental wellbeing support platform. This project was to create an app version of the existing platform with the aim to make MiSolve more accessible, usable and convenient for users. The MiSolve app ushered in a brand new design aesthetic for the brand, with the theme of calm and serenity.

Due to the nature of the app, the UI is minimal yet functional to reduce distractions and maintain the user's focus on the content. The soft colour palette and tranquil nature images contribute to a feeling of lightness for the UX.
